After completing her studies as a Bachelor of Engineering and Master's in Business Administration from India, Sanila started her career at Infosys Technologies and explored the financial services sector before reaching GE Aviation and finding that she could be in the aerospace sector without the smarts needed to be a pilot!

Having been with GE since 2010, she has taken on multiple roles in the areas of Project Management, Six Sigma process improvement and Commercial services contract delivery. At present, she leads the Field Service Engineering team for the Middle East supporting the biggest airlines in the region.

Sanila has lived and worked in India, Dubai, China and the US and realized that women everywhere wanted to excel and grow but for multiple reasons, there aren't enough of them in the workplace. So, one fine summer morning, she hit on the idea of starting a podcast to introduce everyday female role models and their stories as a view to inspire herself and women everywhere.

Sanila is based in Dubai, UAE with her husband (who has been invaluable in setting up this website) and her 12 year old daughter (whose brutally honest feedback sets things in motion).
